Andrew leads this dynamic team by way of example. His on-court professionalism and personality combined with his off court attention to detail sets the standard.

He has coached everyone from the beginner tennis player to full time tennis players.

Andrew’s program design skills and leading biomechanical analysis skills ensures a great program underpins all coaching lessons run at Max Tennis.

Luke Cullen

Luke has been playing since he can remember and been coaching for the past 3 years.

Coaching provides the opportunity for me to combine my love of tennis and helping people to reach their personal best

My 2 favourite moments in tennis so far are Lleyton Hewitt’s 2003 Davis Cup comeback vs Roger Federer (the great man) from 2 sets down! The second, Roger Federer clinching his 15th Grand Slam at Wimbledon.

During all of Luke’s lessons, he ensures that he creates an environment that will best facilitate learning for every student, this includes making every lessons fun and exciting for the students. “The more exciting and interesting the lessons are, the more the students love it and the more they learn!”

Another one of Luke priorities is to endeavour to make sure each student leaves the court with the feeling that they have not only learnt new skills but also improved the ones they already can do!

“I enjoy watching the reaction of the students when they realise that they have learnt something or improved one of their strokes”

“Apart from teaching them forehands and backhands, I try to help each and every person achieve their personal best!”

Simon has been coaching for the past 7 years. After being one of Andrew’s star students, he took up the challenge to pass on his skills and coach some of the next crop of young stars.

My priorities for each lesson are to ensure the kids have fun, leave the court having learnt something new and making sure that not only each individual person improves however the group work cooperatively to help each other improve.

It is very rewarding to see the students develop over time.

Oliver has been playing Tennis for as long as he can remember, and felt passionate about helping others learn this great game

He likes to ensure that his students have fun, and are left with the feeling that they have accomplished something after each lesson.

Linda D’Amico

Linda has been playing since she was 9 years old and developed into one of NSW’s top young players. After playing all around Australia she unfortunately could not shake various injuries. She has since focused her love and passion for the game to the next group of players at Max Tennis.

Linda’s highest AR ranking was 304. She was consistently in the top of her age group nationally, and won many titles.

Linda has an amazing amount of knowledge and love’s seeing her students improve each week. She will complete her TA Coaching Qualifications in 2012.

Harry Hoyer

Harry has been passionate about tennis for as long as he can remember and enjoys fostering this passion in others.

“Tennis coaching enables me to develop fitness and skills that can be used in all aspects of life. It is very rewarding to be able to help students improve their skills after each lesson.”

Harry grew up playing Tennis at Kenthurst and has been been on the Team since 2006!!

Sophie always rates as one the most popular coaches amongst the students!!
She brings an amazing amount of energy to every session. She has played tennis all her life and “just loves working with the kids”.
